Albany Preparatory Charter School Cross Country

Albany Prep has started a fall Cross Country team. Compared to track, Cross Country involves distance
running on grass. Sports in school, especially running, have numerous benefits ranging from enhancing self-esteem to learning leadership skills. It will also help your child learn about fitness and eating healthy.

Cross Country is a 10 week program. There is practice every Wednesday afterschool until 5pm. Our tentative race schedule includes a meet at Guilderland’s Tawasentha Park and a mile kids’ run at the Schenectady Stockade-athon in November.
